Hi , my nearly 5 year old bitch has a sore back which has been around since she was around two yrs old, she has veterinary specialist physio, with accupunture and was recently xrayed b4 xmas . The xrays show hips not to bad , mild h/d in both and her back was clear of any bone problems.
She has been diagnosed with soft tissue problems , and yest we saw the vet who gave her accupunture and water treadmill , but im wondering about swimming , for soem reason the vet doesnt like swimming gsd's with back problems , even though as such amber doesnt have a bad back only bad soft tissues!!!
She can have metacam if she is really bad and is other wise not on anything else but synoquin , green lipped muscle and devils claw. Shes a very healthy and fit girl otherwise!!
It just seems to be continous and id like to see if there was anything else we could try . Any suggestions ?
